Preserve evidence
Save full screenshots with timestamps, profile URLs, and visible message text.
Export emails with headers or use “Show original” on messages.
Record transaction details: sender, amount, currency, platform, and wallet address.
Secure accounts
Change passwords on accounts that may have been exposed.
Turn on MFA for email, social platforms, and sensitive services.
Do not delete evidence until authorities or a trusted advisor say it is safe.
Take action
