We aim for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across ghosttrace.net and the client portal, and we treat verified accessibility defects as priority bugs.
Visual design
High-contrast white and light-slate text on a dark navy background, engineered to meet or exceed WCAG AA contrast ratios for body text; status badges pair color with text labels so meaning never relies on color alone; layouts remain functional at 200% zoom and on screens from 320px wide; motion is limited to short, subtle transitions with no flashing content.
Keyboard & assistive technology
Every interactive control — navigation, forms, dialogs, tab lists, and menus — is reachable and operable by keyboard with a visible focus indicator. We use semantic HTML landmarks (header, nav, main, footer), a logical heading hierarchy, programmatic labels on all form fields, and alt text on meaningful images; decorative imagery is hidden from screen readers.
Forms & error handling
Required fields are indicated, validation errors are announced in text next to the relevant control (never color alone), and destructive actions require explicit confirmation.
Documents & alternative formats
If you need any report, invoice, legal document, or other content in an alternative format (large print, tagged PDF, plain text), email support@ghosttrace.net and we will provide it at no charge.
Known limitations
User-uploaded content (e.g., evidence images in reports) may lack alternative text we cannot author on the submitter's behalf; third-party surfaces — the Stripe checkout page, Google sign-in popup, and external meeting tools — are controlled by their providers; and PDF deliverables produced before 2026 may not be fully tagged. We are addressing what is within our control.
Assessment & feedback
We assess our interface through manual keyboard and screen-reader spot checks and automated contrast tooling during development. If you encounter any barrier, email support@ghosttrace.net with the subject "Accessibility", describing the page and assistive technology used. We aim to acknowledge within 3 business days and to remediate verified WCAG failures promptly.
